Ninh Doan, MD, PhD

Dr. Ninh Doan received his medical degree and PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics from The University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Doan then completed a basic science fellowship for Development in Nanotechnology Therapy for Brain Tumors at Northwestern University. He went on to complete an internship and residency in Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Doan is board certified and is a distinguished member of both the American Association of Neurological Surgery and the Congress of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Doan specializes in all aspects of neurological diseases, including brain tumors, spinal diseases, trigeminal neuralgia, etc. He is also extensively trained in brain tumors, as well as traumatic brain and spinal injuries. Dr. Doan has received multiple NIH, Foundation and Institutional Research grants for studying brain tumors.

Dr. Doan takes pride in being a member of a team dedicated to delivering the most recent advancements in neurosurgery to Central Alabama. He and his wife are delighted parents of three children. During his leisure time, he enjoys family activities and traveling.
