Stork Club
"Let us take you under our wing and guide you through,
with special care and advice for both of you!"
Having a baby can bring on a flood of emotions such as happiness, hope,
concern and a little apprehension. These emotions are to be expected and
are perfectly normal. The Stork Club helps expectant mothers and fathers
prepare for the incredible journey that lies ahead. The free Stork Club
membership is available to anyone delivering at Baptist Medical Center
East or Baptist Medical Center South.
Stork Club members receive a fun booklet that provides step-by-step, month-after-month guidance through the entire experience. It includes important information about how a woman’s body changes and how the baby develops, plus helpful advice on what to expect and how to prepare. Members learn about nutritional and emotional needs, selecting a maternity wardrobe, getting ready for the visit to the hospital and much, much more. Members are also entitled to valuable discounts from area merchants on a wide range of baby goods and services. In addition, members receive information concerning the many classes offered by Baptist Health, including prenatal breastfeeding, sibling preparation, infant safety/CPR and prepared childbirth.
