Post Partum

After the baby is born

On postpartum “Happy Endings” is the goal with the mother and baby both being healthy and going home together. This is also our goal as we care for women in any stage of pregnancy. The primary focus is providing family centered maternity care, with an emphasis on patient/family education and discharge teaching/planning. Postpartum patients range in age from 14-45. Services for GYN patients are provided, but for the most part, services are provided for antepartals and postpartum deliveries (c-section and vaginal deliveries). Bed capacity is 38.

The staff has a friendly, caring, knowledgeable reputation and consists of registered nurses, a licensed practicing nurse, patient care technicians and unit clerks. Staff members are privileged to work with a great group of physicians on postpartum.
