Dr. Snider received his Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Alabama and his medical degree from the Medical College of
Alabama where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society and
received the Special Merit Award and the Upjohn Achievement Award for Superior
Scholastic Attainment. He completed his
internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, his surgical residency at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham, and a breast surgical oncology research fellowship at
Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.
He is certified by the American Board of
Surgery and is a past president of the American Society of Breast
Surgeons. He currently serves as a
reviewing editor for the Breast Education and Self-Assessment Program (BESAP)
of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
