2004 -- Julia Ventress has accepted the position of Vice President
of Baptist Health. Having served in an interim capacity since March
2004, Julia has provided a unique perspective on the state of the
market, establishing operational objectives and leading recent
strategic planning initiatives. The permanent addition of Julia to
the Baptist leadership team provides an improved organizational
focus on strategic development and growth with an emphasis on
delivering quality healthcare services to our patients. Julia brings
proven healthcare expertise and will play a key role in positioning
Baptist Health as the premier healthcare provider in central
Alabama. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Julia served as Assistant
Planning and Strategy Officer at UAB Health System. Julia's academic
degrees also reveal a consistent drive for excellence and include a
Masters of Science in Health Administration from UAB, a Masters of
Business Administration from UAB and a Bachelor of Business
Administration from the University of Mississippi.
