Baptist Health Announces New Personnel

February 2005 -- Meloni Carter, F.N.P., M.S.N., has been named chief nursing officer at Prattville Baptist Hospital. Carter is a family nurse practitioner and earned a master’s degree in nursing from Troy University. “I am very glad to be a part of the Baptist Health system again,” Meloni said.

Linda Segrest, R.N., has been named director of Baptist Hospice. A graduate of Troy University, Segrest has worked in hospice for seven years. “I am excited about the future of Baptist Hospice as well as Baptist Health as a whole and feel honored to be a part of the Baptist system,” she said.

Kerry Tolleson has been named director of finance for Baptist Health. Tolleson earned his M.B.A. at Belmont University and his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Alabama. Before coming to Baptist Health Tolleson was controller at North Shore Medical Center in Miami.

Tiffany Chaney has been named director of Business Development for Baptist Health. Chaney earned her master of science in health administration, master of business administration and bachelor in finance from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Stan Swedberg, C.M.R.P., has been named director of Materials Management for Baptist Health. Swedberg has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
