Open a Baptist Club Account and Comala will pay 0.10% of the balance directly to the Baptist Health Care Foundation. You still earn dividends on your account and the Baptist Health Care Foundation makes money too!

If you are already a member of Comala Credit Union, you can add the Baptist Club account to your existing account. This is a savings account that works a lot like a Christmas club account.

If you are not already a member of Comala Credit Union, it is easy to become one. Visit one of our convenient locations and tell us you want to open a share (savings) account and a Baptist Club account. You will need your driver’s license and Social Security card and $25 to open your account.

Setting up direct deposit for your Comala Credit Union account. You will need to fill out your paper work with your facility HR department at Baptist Health, then visit Comala to fill out a blue card that will let us know what accounts to put your money in. For instance, you could set up your whole check to be deposited into your Comala account with HR. Then you can come into Comala and set up $25 to be deposited into your regular share (savings) account, $35 to be deposited into your Baptist Club account, and the remainder to be deposited into your share draft (checking) account.

Or, if you have another financial institution that you will be depositing your paycheck with, you can still set your Comala Credit Union account as a secondary account. For instance, XYZ Financial is your primary account. Your Comala Credit Union account can be set up as a secondary account with a fixed amount deposited into that account each pay period.
