DOCTORS NAMED TO 2006 ‘BEST DOCTORS’ LIST
August 2005 -- Did your physician make the 2006 “Best Doctors” list?
Thirty-two tri-county-area doctors affiliated with Baptist Health have been named to the 2006 “Best Doctors” list after being nominated by peers identified as the best in their field. Three times as many Baptist Health-affiliated doctors made the list than any other tri-county-area hospital. These doctors practice in 13 medical specialties, from obstetrics and gynecology to allergy and immunology.
"Being included on the prestigious list of the Best Doctors in America is a true honor and reflection of the fine reputation these physicians have,” said Russell Tyner, Baptist Health president and CEO. “The fact that this list is the result of peer nomination by the medical community speaks volumes to the respect others have for their skill and the quality care they provide. We are fortunate to have these physicians practicing in our community."
Best Doctors Inc., of Boston, Mass., and Aiken, S.C., is the global leader in providing information about and access to the best medical care in the U.S. and around the world.
