Biography

Dr. Ramroop received her undergraduate and medical degree from the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine, Trinidad. During her training there she was awarded the Government of Trinidad and Tobago Commonwealth Scholarship for Medical Studies.  Dr. Ramroop completed her training at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program, Montgomery, AL.  She is a Board Certified Family Practice physician, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  

She enjoys being with her family, which includes her husband who is a research professor at Troy University as well as a young daughter. Dr. Ramroop still has family in Trinidad, where her mother serves as a senator. She loves to volunteer in the community, but in her spare time she enjoys cooking and working out.
