The Baptist Medical Center South School of Diagnostic Ultrasound transferred to H. Council Trenholm State Technical College (effective July 11, 2009).
The program is located on the Trenholm campus located at 1225 Air Base Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36108. The benefits of this move are the award of an associate in applied technology degree upon completion and access to traditional financial aid afforded by all colleges and universities.
We are confident that you will find the same or better quality educational experience as a student at Trenholm State Technical College. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) recently approved the transfer of sponsorship of the school to Trenholm State Technical college and the maintenance of its accreditation. Graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
