Montgomery – The Baptist Health Care Foundation is pleased to announce that John Tesh will headline this year’s A Montgomery Family Christmas. The benefit concert for Baptist Hospice will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre. Tickets for this event will go on sale tomorrow, Oct. 1.
This will be the first show of Tesh’s 2010 Christmas tour. Tesh is well known as a former host on “Entertainment Tonight” and for his syndicated radio program, “The John Tesh Radio Show: Music and Intelligence for Your Life.” Locally, Tesh’s radio show can be heard on Mix 103. He is also a talented pianist and composer of popular and contemporary Christian music.
A multi-talented artist and composer, Tesh has won six music Emmys, has three gold albums and two Grammy nominations. Three of Tesh’s releases, A Deeper Faith, Christmas Worship and Power of Love all resided on the Billboard Pop and Christian Music charts.
Montgomery Family Christmas serves as a benefit for Baptist Hospice. Proceeds from the benefit are used by Baptist Hospice to provide end of life care for uninsured patients.
Tickets for this event are $25 for the Artist’s Circle, general admission tickets are $20 and for groups of 10 or more tickets are $15 each.
