Baptist Hospice to Host Ministers Forum

MONTGOMERY - Many people have questions about end of life care and it is only natural for them to seek the advice of their minister or other church clergy. Baptist Hospice, the Alabama Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition and the Alabama Department of Public Health is offering a free, nondenominational ministers forum to help empower and educate clergy about the healthcare options available in the tri-county.

The forum will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 in Alabama Room B at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center, 201 Tallapoosa St. Lunch will be provided and registration is required.

The one-day conference will explore the critical responsibility clergy has in end of life decisions of their members. Baptist Hospice will explain what hospice services can do for patient and family - physically, mentally and spiritually.

To learn more or to register, please call Baptist Hospice at (334) 395-5000.
